Understanding Your Body Is the First Step Toward Parenthood
We help individuals and couples make sense of their reproductive health so they can make informed decisions about conception, treatment, and the family they’re building.
Infertility affects millions of couples across Nigeria, yet many still lack access to accurate, judgment-free information about their reproductive health. D’mariano Pro-Fertility Foundation was founded by a couple who spent eleven years trying to conceive before welcoming their first child. That journey taught us how much is misunderstood about fertility, and how alone people can feel without the right information and the right people around them.
Our Reproductive Health & Fertility Program exists to close that gap. We provide science-based education, connect people with qualified specialists, and walk alongside individuals and couples as they work toward parenthood, whatever that path looks like for them.
Fertility challenges are rarely just physical. They come wrapped in myths, cultural stigma, and years of confusing or contradictory advice. Many people don’t know what a healthy fertility cycle looks like, what factors affect conception, or when it’s time to seek professional help. Others assume infertility is a women’s issue, when in fact male-factor causes are involved in roughly half of all cases. Left unaddressed, this knowledge gap delays diagnosis, prolongs emotional distress, and can push families toward unproven treatments or discouragement. Reliable, early education is often the difference between years of uncertainty and a clear, actionable path forward.
Individuals and couples trying to conceive, newlyweds planning their families, people who have received an infertility diagnosis and want a clear next step, and community health workers who want to educate others accurately.
Ready to understand your fertility health?
We cover the complete biological picture of how fertility works. You'll learn:
The goal? You'll understand your body well enough to make informed decisions and recognize when professional help is needed.
No, there's an important difference. Natural family planning is about preventing pregnancy by tracking cycles. Fertility awareness education is about understanding your reproductive health so you can optimize your chances of conception or understand barriers to it.
We teach you the science, not a method. Whether you use that knowledge to prevent or achieve pregnancy is your choice.
First consultation: Typically 60 minutes. We go deep your medical history, current situation, concerns, goals.
Follow-up sessions: 30-45 minutes, depending on what you need.
If you want to attend a group workshop instead of one-on-one, those are usually 2-3 hours and cover foundational knowledge for multiple couples at once.
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Many couples have different understandings of how fertility works. When you both learn together, you're on the same page and can make decisions as a team.
If your partner can't attend, we're happy to work with you alone. But couples who come together tend to have better outcomes because they're making informed decisions together.
That's exactly what we prepare you for. At the end of your education session, we'll:
Education is step one. If you need step two, we'll guide you there.
